Kolkata giants East Bengal FC have finally signed English striker Jake Jervis for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
31 year old Jake Mario Jervis, who was born Wolverhampton, in his youth played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town and Birmingham City.
It was at Birmingham City that Jake Jervis made his senior debut, but he spend time on loan with Hereford United (twice), Notts County, Swindon Town, Preston North End, Carlisle United, Tranmere Rovers, and FC Portsmouth.
Jake Jervis then in 2013 moved to Turkey to play for Elazığspor before returning to FC Portsmouth
He then played for Ross County in Scotland before returning to England to play for Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town before loan spells at AFC Wimbledon and Salford City FC.
Last, Jake Jervis played for Finnish side SJK (Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho) before now moving to India.
East Bengal FC will hope that Jake Jervis will add firepower upfront next to Cleiton Silva.
