East Bengal prepare for their I-League against Sporting Goa

Kingfisher East BengalFollowing the resignation of their head coach Biswajit Bhattacharya, East Bengal Club go into their Round 15 Hero I-League encounter against Sporting Clube de Goa with an aim to do a double and garner full points once more against the Flaming Oranje at the Barasat Municipal Stadium in Kolkata on Friday, April 15 evening at 7pm.

East Bengal will go into the match with Sanjay Mahji as their interim coach with the club hoping to return to winning ways after their 1-3 loss to Bengaluru FC, which led to Biswajit’s resignation and the club failing to keep their I-League title charge alive.

East Bengal are currently third in the table with 24 points from 14 matches followed by Sporting Goa who are six points behind. In their opening I-League clash in Margao, East Bengal had triumphed 3-1.
