The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) with profound grief and shock, the Office Bearers and its Members in deep sorrow and condolence on the sad and untimely demise of footballer Suraj Hansdah, who breathed his last yesterday morning at around 10am at Rourkela after a brief illness. He was only 22 years old.
He had the honour of representing Odisha at junior level and he has also represented numerous football clubs in Odisha state.
He survived by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He was the youngest child in the family.
