FA of Odisha hold Women’s Football Development meeting!

The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) conducted a Meeting on Sunday, June 30 pertaining to development of Women’s Football in the state. Many affiliated districts, clubs and potential promoters of the Women Football of the state participated in it.

A wide range of issues were discussed regarding the development of Women’s Football in Odisha.

It was decided that the Football Association of Odisha will help those affiliated Clubs, Districts and potential promoters who intend to develop women’s football in their respective locality so that women’s football will develop more and that Odisha will be a reckoning force in the National scenario.

Participants of the meeting were Bijay Das (Sr Vice President – FAO), Bhakta Ballav Das (Sr Vice President – FAO), Akmal Alli (Member – FAO), Biswa Ranjan Ghadei (Member – FAO), Laxmi Dei (Addl DPI- School & Mass Education Deptt – Govt of Odisha), Ramesh Chandra Malik (Member – FAO), Mohammed Shahid Jabbar (Member – FAO, Ex-Coach of Senior India Women Football Team), A.K. Tej (Member – FAO), Sradhanjali Samantray (AFC – B Football Coach, Former India Women team captain), Gitanjali Khuntia (AFC – B Football Coach, former Women’s International), Gangadhar Behera (Member – FAO), Sanjeev Patasani (AFC C Football Coach) and many other Women Football coaches along with numerous women football promoters.
