FC Bengaluru United prevail 2-0 over Kenkre FC!

In a highly anticipated clash at COE Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, FC Bengaluru United showcased their dominance with a commanding 2-0 victory over Kenkre FC, maintaining their winning streak. Despite facing the challenge of playing away from home, the Bengaluru outfit wasted no time in asserting their dominance, taking an early lead in the 5th-minute courtesy of Ngangbam Naocha’s clinical finish. Fifteen minutes later, it was Naocha, again in action, this time his assist helping Yash Mhatre get FC Bengaluru United up 2-0 (20′).

Some smart defensive play and strong goalkeeping from Vishal, saw FC Bengaluru United pull off a strong win.

FC Bengaluru United started strongly, looking to control possession and dominate play. The first goal was a testament to FC Bengaluru United’s precision in attack, as Ashley orchestrated a brilliant through ball to Naocha. With exceptional composure, Naocha outwitted the Kenkre goalkeeper, evading his advance and executing a perfectly placed chip to find the back of the net.

Fifteen minutes later, Naocha once again proved to be instrumental in FCBU’s offensive efforts, this time turning provider. Operating on the wing, Naocha displayed his dribbling skills as he breezed past a defender before delivering a precise low pass to Yash Mhatre. Mhatre made no mistake, calmly slotting the ball home to double FCBU’s lead in the 20th minute.

Despite Kenkre FC’s efforts to mount a comeback in the second half, FC Bengaluru United remained resolute in defense, with Vishal delivering a stellar goalkeeping performance to keep a clean sheet. Through a combination of smart defensive play and unwavering determination, FC Bengaluru United secured a well-deserved victory, further solidifying their position at the top of the league standings.
