Following its whirlwind journey taking in each of the 24 countries participating in the upcoming 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy is back in the host country.
The most coveted prize in women’s football will begin its national tour of France on May 14.
The tour will start in Paris, the location for the opening match between France and South Korea on June 7, and conclude in Lyon, the venue for the final on July 7.
As excitement builds ahead of the tournament, fans throughout France have the opportunity to get up-close to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy.
For two weeks in May, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy will visit a number of locations including stadiums, local schools and city councils, and will encounter admirers and guests including several FIFA Legends.
SNCF, a National Supporter of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France and a market leader in mobility, will showcase the trophy on its trains as it is transported between cities.
