FIFA World Rankings: India drop to 102nd, Argentina stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the September rankings, India dropped three spots to become 102nd behind Lebanon, but ahead of Guatemala; while Argentina remain No. 1.

India have 1.205 points, four less than the last rankings and they drop a spot to 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India drew Iraq but lost to Lebanon in the Kind’s Cup with matches in the Merdeka Cup coming up next month.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (175th), Bhutan (184th), Bangladesh (189th), Pakistan (197th) and Sri Lanka (202nd) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was no change across the top 5. 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina (1,851 pts) stay ahead of France (1,841 pts), Brazil (1,838 points), England (1,794 pts) and Belgium (1,793 pts) to complete the top five.
