FIFA World Rankings: India drop to 106th, Brazil new No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the March rankings, India drop two spots into 106th behind Cyprus, but ahead of Kosovo; while Brazil are back as the new No. 1.

India have 1174 points, nine points less than last month and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India played two matches against Bahrain and Belarus, which they both lost in the last window and they will officially again in June in the final 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (156th), Nepal (168th), Bhutan (187th), Bangladesh (188th), Pakistan (197th) and Sri Lanka (205th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was a change across the top 5. Brazil (1,833 points) are the new No.1 as Belgium (1,827 points) drop into second-place ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,790 pts), Argentina (1,765 pts) and England (1,762 pts) to complete the top five.
