FIFA World Rankings: India drop to 106th, Brazil stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the October rankings, India drop two spots to 106th behind New Zealand, but ahead of Kosovo; while Brazil retain their No. 1 spot.

India have 1192 points, seven less than last month and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India in September drew Singapore and lost to Vietnam in the VFF Tri-Series with next matches likely to be in March 2023.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (154th), Nepal (175th), Bhutan (185th), Bangladesh (192nd), Pakistan (194th) and Sri Lanka (207th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There were no changes across the top 5. Brazil (1,841 points) stay ahead of Belgium (1,817 points), Argentina (1,774 pts), 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,760 pts), and England (1,729 pts) to complete the top five.
