FIFA World Rankings: India drop to 108th position, Belgium stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier in the day, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the November rankings, India dropped two spots as 108th position behind Kenya, but ahead of Central African Republic; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.

India have 1187 points, 14 less than last month and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

In the joint 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, India were held to a 1-1 draw by Afghanistan in Dushanbe and lost to Oman in Muscat, while India next play in their 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in March 2020.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (170th), Bangladesh (187th), Bhutan (189th), Pakistan (201st) and Sri Lanka (205th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was no change across the top 5. Belgium (1,765 points) stay No. 1, ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,733 pts), 2019 Copa America winners Brazil (1,712 points), England (1,661 pts), and Uruguay (1,645 pts) to complete the top five.
