FIFA World Rankings: India move up to 100th, Argentina stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the June rankings, India gained one spot to become 101st behind Mauritania, but ahead of Trinidad and Tobago; while Argentina remain No. 1.

India have 1.205 points, four more than the last rankings and they gain a spot in 18th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India won their four matches at the Intercontinental Cup, while the ongoing SAFF Championship matches would go into the next rankings.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (154th), Nepal (175th), Bhutan (184th), Bangladesh (192nd), Pakistan (201st) and Sri Lanka (207th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was only one change across the top 5. 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina (1,844 pts) stay ahead of France (1,844 pts) and Brazil (1,828 points), while England (1,797 pts) and Belgium (1,789 pts) switch their spots to complete the top five.
