FIFA World Rankings: India move up to 101th, Argentina new No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the April rankings, India gained five spots to become 101st behind New Zealand, but ahead of Kenya; while Argentina are the new No. 1.

India have 1.200 points, eight more than the last rankings and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India won their two matches against Myanmar and Kyrgyz Republic with the next matches in June 2023.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (154th), Nepal (174th), Bhutan (185th), Bangladesh (192nd), Pakistan (195th) and Sri Lanka (207th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There were multiple changes across the top 5. 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina (1,841 pts) are new number one and France (1,838 pts) also gain a spot, but Brazil (1,834 points) drop two spots, while Belgium (1,793 pts) and England (1,792 pts) complete the top five.
