FIFA World Rankings: India stay 102nd, Argentina stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the October rankings, India stay 102nd behind Mauritania, but ahead of New Zealand; while Argentina remain No. 1.

India have 1.199 points, six less than the last rankings and they gain a spot to 18th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India lost to Malaysia in the Merdeka Cup with matches in the FIFA World Cup 26 – Asian Round 2 qualifiers coming up next month.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (161st), Nepal (173rd), Bhutan (182nd), Bangladesh (183rd), Pakistan (193rd) and Sri Lanka (202nd) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was no change across the top 5. 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina (1,861 pts) stay ahead of France (1,853 pts), Brazil (1,812 points), England (1,808 pts) and Belgium (1,794 pts) to complete the top five.
