Earlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the February rankings, India stay in 104th behind Kenya, but ahead of Cyprus; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.
India have 1183 points, the same as last month and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.
India played no matches in the last window and there are two friendly matches in March against Bahrain and Belarus.
In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (157th), Nepal (167th), Bhutan (185th), Bangladesh (186th), Pakistan (197th) and Sri Lanka (204th) in what was another mixed month for the region.
There was a change across the top 5. Belgium (1,829 points) stay No. 1, ahead of second-placed Brazil (1,823 points) and 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,786 pts) with Argentina (1,767 pts) and England (1,756 pts) switching positions to complete the top five.
