FIFA World Rankings: India stay in Top 100, Brazil remain top!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier in the day, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the June rankings, India retained their 100th position along with Nicaragua Kazakhstan behind Zambia, but ahead of Guinea-Bissau.

India have 331 points, the same number of points as last month and they remain in 11th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India’s next international matches are in June 2017, when they face Nepal in a friendly and then Kyrgyzstan in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup – Round 3 qualifiers with both matches at home.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of Maldives (156th), Afghanistan (158th), Bhutan (166th), Nepal (169th), Bangladesh (192nd), Sri Lanka (197th) and Pakistan (200th).

There were no changes in the top 5. Brazil stay in top position with 1,715 points, ahead of Argentina (1,603 pts), FIFA World Cup winners Germany (1,464 pts), Copa America winners Chile (1,411 pts) and Colombia (1,366 pts), who complete the top five.
