The Football Players Association of India (FPAI) is once again conducting its FPAI Indian Football Awards and today they announced the five nominees for the Foreigner of the Year Award.
For the upcoming 2017 FPAI Indian Football awards, the five shortlisted foreign players are according to the number of votes they have received from their colleagues, i.e. the I-League players playing in the different clubs across the country.
The NOMINEES
1. Sony Norde (Mohun Bagan AC/ Mumbai City FC)
2. Willis Deon Plaza (East Bengal Club)
3. Alfred Jaryan (Aizawl FC)
4. Darryl Duffy (Mohun Bagan AC)
5. Asser Pierrick Dicka (Shillong Lajong FC)
The winner of the Foreigner of the Year Award will be announced on July 1, 2017 at the 2017 FPAI Indian Football Awards.
