Fulham FC youngster Luc De Fougerolles signs pro contract!

Fulham FC have announce that young right-back Luc De Fougerolles has signed his first professional contract.

The 17-year-old has heavily impressed at Under-18s level with his excellent one-on-one defending and ability to create further up the pitch. His consistently strong performances have seen him move up to the Under-21s on multiple occasions this season.

Before signing his scholarship deal last summer, the youngster had already made 19 appearances for the U-18s despite being considerably younger than the players he was coming up against.

After reaching one of his milestones, Luc said, “I’m absolutely delighted to sign on with the club that I’ve been with since I was eight years old. I’ve spent most of my life here so it’s a really special moment for myself and my family.”

On his first year playing Under-18s football, he added: “That season really helped me because it allowed me to adapt and get used to it before signing my scholarship deal and playing week in week out this year. I’ve also been able to push on a bit with the Under-21s which has been a great experience.”

“This really feels like home. I’ve probably spent more time at Motspur Park than I have at my house! I love it. It’s amazing. My family have been really supportive and there have been lots of long car rides to away games! They’re the ones who got me into football when I was young to be honest.”
