The German Football Association (DFB e.V.) and Secretary General Dr. Friedrich Curtius have mutually agreed to terminate the cooperation. Curtius thus fulfilled his promise to also support the way for a new beginning in the top management of the DFB after the resignation of its president Fritz Keller.
This prudent step was made by Dr. Curtius to allow a fresh start at the top of the DFB. The DFB executive committee thanks Friedrich Curtius for the service he has provided to the DFB and German football in the past.
