Goa & Kerala football legends play to raise money for Kerala Flood Victims!

After Kolkata football, it was now the time for Goa football to raise money for the Kerala Flood Victims with a charity match against former stars of Kerala at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa.

A Goa Legends XI took on a Kerala Legends XI which saw Goan Arjuna Awardees like Brahmanand Shankhwalkar and Bruno Coutinho plus numerous other Indian international footbalers taking on a Kerala XI team led by former India captain I.M. Vijayan, which included a number of Kerala legends.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but this match wasn’t about any result but for the fact that former footballers from both states came together to raise money and awareness about the Kerala Floods and raised funds which will help the victims of this tragedy.

One can only complement these former legends in their efforts to do their bit to help!
