Sporting Clube de Goa Under-14s kicked off the GFA Under-14 League in style as they beat Cabessa SC 10-0 in the opening fixture of the tournament.
Saad Naroo opened the floodgates with an 8th minute right footer, before the Cabessa SC players could recover Joseph De Souza doubled the lead with a brilliant shot in the 10th minute. From there on it was all Sporting Goa, Saad Naroo continued his fine form as he netted one more in the 16th minute making it 3-0 in favour of Sporting Goa.
Joseph added one more in the 27thminute while Rio Fernandes made it 5-0 in the 29th minute. Things got worst for Cabessa when Sporting Goa were awarded a penalty in the 33rd minute which Joseph once again calmly converted. In the next minute Mounesh Toted added one more making it 7-0 for Sporting Goa before the half time.
In the second half Mounesh (56′) scored a fantastic goal after receiving a good through ball from Naroo, while Joseph De Souza (62′) came back haunting Cabessa defenders to score with a low right footer and Saad Naroo (67′) signed off in style making it 10-0 for Sporting Goa.
