Gokulam Kerala FC empowers Coaches with Refreshment Workshop on Football Training!

Gokulam Kerala FC hosted a highly informative Refreshment Workshop for Coaches. The workshop aimed to update coaches on the latest football training techniques, ensuring the best possible guidance for young players. The event took place at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Calicut.

A total of 13 coaches participated in the refreshment course, including one C-license coach, 11 D-license coaches, and one E-license coach, all employed with Gokulam Kerala FC. The workshop aimed to enhance their skills and equip them to impart these techniques effectively to young aspiring footballers, thereby strengthening the club’s grassroots initiatives.

Renowned experts and experienced professionals led the workshop, providing valuable insights and guidance to the coaches. Notable personalities such as Rajeev P, Head of Youth Development at Gokulam Kerala FC, Sasikumar P, Referee Assessor, and Michael Andrews, Referee Committee Chairman, conducted interactive sessions throughout the workshop.

The curriculum covered a range of topics essential to contemporary coaching, including the changes in laws of the game, coaches’ roles and responsibilities, matchday responsibilities, the evolving role of coaches in the new era, and the latest trends in coaching methodologies. These comprehensive sessions ensured that the coaches were up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
