Gokulam Kerala FC resign Nepal Women’s striker Sabitra Bhandari!

Indian Women’s League champions Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the return of Nepal Women’s international striker Sabitra Bhandari ahead of the 2022/23 season.

25 year old Lamjung-born Sabitra Bhandari is one of the best women strikers in south Asia.

Sabitra Bhandari had been part of the Gokulam Kerala FC team which had won the 2019/20 Indian Women’s League after she had joined them from Sethu FC, where she had won the 2018/19 Indian Women’s League.

After an injury forced longer break, Sabitra Bhandari will now return to Gokulam Kerala FC’s women’s team for the upcoming season.

Sabitra Bhandari said, “The aim is to win the AFC Women’s Championship and retain the IWL title. Gokulam Kerala FC is like home and I would like to make the club achieve more heights.”
