Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of Álex Sánchez, a forward hailing from Spain. Born without a right hand, he has triumphed over numerous challenges to become the first and only footballer with a disability to play in the esteemed Spanish LaLiga.
The 34-year-old forward’s skills and dedication has earned him recognition and admiration within the football community. His journey to excellence includes experience gained at various clubs, such as CD Tudelano, CD Teruel, CA Osasuna Promesas, Utebo FC, CA Osasuna, and Real Zaragoza, in which he played LaLiga.
Having featured in 127 matches in Spain’s Third Tier, Álex Sánchez has impressively netted 42 goals, showcasing his prowess on the field. During the last season, he contributed significantly to SD Ejea, scoring 13 goals in 33 matches.
Álex Sánchez’s talent, combined with his exceptional track record, has made him an invaluable addition to
Gokulam Kerala FC. He has now signed a one-year deal with the club.

Gokulam Kerala FC this season, Álex’s exceptional talents and determination will further bolster the team’s preparations under their new Spanish Coach, Domingo Oramas.
