Gokulam Kerala FC head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese is delighted with the arrival of Malabarians’ new striker – Dennis Antwi Agyare. He feels that the sriker from Ghana has a champion mentality and will be successful at the club.
Dennis Antwi started his career at Accra in Ghana and he traveled to Malaysia at the age of eighteen to play for Kelantan FA. He won the Malaysian Super League and Malayasian FA Cup with the club. He later went on to play in top clubs in Norway and Sweden.
“I have watched him play several times and he is an amazing striker. He has done extremely well in the Malaysian Super League with big clubs there. Antwi has also experience in higher level leagues in Europe,” said Vincenzo Alberto Annese about Dennis Antwi.
“He is a very good professional with a mentality to win. He will be successful with our club and will help us to land the title,” he said.
“At a very young age, he has traveled to a different country and played in a top league. He can play as a first striker, second striker or as a winger. His technique is amazing and his real strength lies in his sprint. He has played in Norway and Sweden and the level of competitiveness is high there,” he added.
