Former Germany international Lukas Podolski has decided to make a potential final move to the country of his birth, Poland by signing for Ekstraklasa side Gornik Zabrze.
36 year old 2014 FIFA World Cup winner Lukas Podolski was born in Gleiwitz, the neighbouring city of Zabrze and he now would play in Poland for the first-time.
Podolski, who grew up in the city of Bergheim, played at the local side FC 07 Bergheim before joining the Academy of 1.FC Köln, where he also made his professional debut.
Thereafter Podolski played for Bayern Munich, once more for 1.FC Köln, Arsenal FC, Inter Milan, Galatasaray Istanbul, Vissel Kobe and until recently Antalyaspor.
