The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Diploma Coaching Course conducted by Guwahati City FC was concluded today at the Sonapur Mini Stadium.
Guwahati City FC which has been in the forefront in youth and grassroots development in the state of Assam, has been focussing on coach education too and produced more than 80 qualified football coaches through various AIFF and AFC coaching courses.
This is the fourth coaching course conducted by the club after three AIFF E and D Certificate Courses.
n the AFC C Diploma Course, 24 coaches across the north east participated who were trained under AIFF instructor and AFC B Licensed Coach C. Rabisankar Singh.
Guwahati City FC Directors Darick Ranjan Deka and Kaustab Chakraborty besides Club Physio Jeuti Sarma were present in the closing ceremony.
The course which was started from April 1, was organised in association with Sonapur Sports Association and DBI, Sonapur and approved by the Assam Football Association.
The participating coaches were:
Dipankar Debnath, Paominsei Haokip, Abdul sahid Choudhury, Pinku Boro, Rupam Chetia, Kangkon kaustav kakoti, Meitram Suraj Singh, Tanmoy Dhar, Sahil Ahmed, Ajay Ekka, Lohit Boro, Mithichar Gayari, E Bishal Singh, Jyotirmoy Kalita, Jatin Konwar, Aibor Shabong, Bitu Das, Jwngsar Brahma, N Bishal Singh, Birendra Kumar Yadav, Hirakjyoti Choudhary, Dhruba Prasad Gimire, Joni Rabha,Thaodem Chandrakumar Singh.
