Indian Super League newcomers Jamshedpur FC have announced the signing of Haitian international striker Kervens Fils Belfort for the ISL – Season 4.
Leading the line in the Haitian national team as a striker, 25 year old Kervens Belfort has played in some of Haiti’s biggest games, with 40 international appearances since his international debut in 2010.
Beginning in 2007, Belfort has played club football in Haiti, France, Switzerland, Cyprus, Turkey and India for Tempête FC, FC Le Mans B, FC Le Mans, FC Sion, Grenoble Foot 38, Fréjus Saint Raphaël FC, Ethnikos Achnas, 1461 Trabzon and Kerala Blasters.
He has been a consistent presence internationally having appeared six times at FIFA tournament qualifiers and scoring four goals. In the 2014 Caribbean Cup, Kevin Belforts was awarded the Golden Boot as well as the Best Forward in the Best XI.
Striker Kervens Belfort rejoins his former Kerala Blasters head coach Steve Coppell at his new club Jamshedpur FC.
