Joma, as the reference sports brand in football and technical sponsor of HNK Rijeka, presents the Rijeka’s new 2022/23 jersey with which the players will be wearing for the upcoming season.
HNK Rijeka’s first jersey retains the club’s traditional colours: white and blue. With a completely revamped design, this jersey features blue and gold details on a white background. The sublimated print on the front and sleeves depicts the silhouette of white sharks, the endangered marine species characteristic of the Adriatic Sea. The coasts of the city of Rijeka are bathed by this sea, so the club wanted to make a nod to the importance of caring for the marine fauna of its area. In this way, it will contribute to raising awareness of the importance of saving this particular species. It also features HNK Rijeka’s iconic cross on the front. On the sides and back there are gold details, which give the shirt an elegant and distinguished touch.
Regarding the second shirt, the same design with blue sublimation has been chosen, although in this case it is presented on a navy-blue background.
On the other hand, the HSK Rijeka badge is heat-sealed on both elastics usin Joma Sportech to avoid chafing and to offer a more comfortable game. The Croatian flag is also woven on the upper back. On the inside of the back, you can read “HNK Rijeka – Krepat ma ne molat”, the well-known local expression that the club shares with the fans and which means “Die, but don’t give up”.
Finally, this is a classic style jersey collection with a round collar, regular pattern, raglan sleeves in order to give more freedom of movement and Flatlock seams to prevent chafing. They are made of polyester, a smooth and very resistant fabric, with mesh inserted on the underarms and sides, the areas that need more perspiration.
