Huddersfield Town & Andre Breitenreiter part ways!

Huddersfield Town have confirmed that the club and André Breitenreiter have agreed to part ways by mutual consent.

Breitenreiter joined the Club in February 2024, with the German coach overseeing 13 fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship as Head Coach, winning twice.

Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season and confirmation of Huddersfield Town’s relegation to Sky Bet League One, positive discussions were held between the Club and André regarding the future. However, with time it became evident that it was in the best interest of both parties to amicably part ways.

Huddersfield Town Owner and Chairman Kevin Nagle commented, “I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with André over the past three months and he departs with our best wishes, while contingencies in place have seen our recruitment process for a new Head Coach advance.”

“Supporters should rest assured that all decisions made are with the best intentions of our Club in mind, and we look forward to moving on in a positive manner with a new Head Coach dedicated to our ideals and vision, with our plans for pre-season and ambitions for the year ahead unmoved.”
