Hyderabad FC B beat FC Goa Reserves for first win of 2nd Division League campaign!

Hyderabad FC B registered their first win of the 2nd Division League campaign against FC Goa at the Nagoa Panchayat Ground in Goa on Sunday, April 23. With this 2-0 victory, Hyderabad FC now have four points from their six games and stand fourth in the league table with just one more game to play.

Joel Fernandes’ 12th-minute own goal gave Hyderabad FC B an early lead in the game while Aron Vanlalrinchhana doubled the lead in the 35th minute which was eventually enough to get all three points.

Versly Paes was sent off in the 23rd minute for a rash tackle which pushed FC Goa Reserves to play with 10 men for over an hour.

With more than two crucial changes to the Starting XI, Head Coach Renjith PA mixed things up for this game and his side put up a strong fight to register their first win in the competition.

This was Hyderabad FC B’s second clean sheet of the campaign as they ensured a fourth place finish in Group D come the end of the campaign.

The youngsters are back in action one last time when they take on Dempo Sports Club in Goa on Thursday, April 27.
