India junior Givson Singh joins Kerala Blasters!

Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters have announced the signing of India junior international Givson Singh ahead of ISL-7.

18 year old Moirang-born Givson Singh Moirangthem played locally football before joining the Minerva Punjab FC Academy and after impressing in India youth teams joined the AIFF Elite Academy.

Last season, Givson Singh was a key player for the AIFF developmental side Indian Arrows in the I-League as an attacking midfielder.

Givson Singh said, “My fascination for football started when I was a little boy and has only kept building over the years. I’m extremely glad to be a part of Kerala Blasters, a club that belongs to an equally or more passionate state as mine for the sport. My career has just begun and I have bigger dreams to achieve, for myself and for the team. I’m thankful to everyone at the club for welcoming me to the yellow family and I hope to give it whatever it takes to live my dreams.”

Kerala Blasters assistant coach Ishfaq Ahmed added, “Givson is one of the best players in Indian Arrows and has always shown maturity beyond his age. He’ll be a good addition to our squad. I’m sure, he’ll scale to greater heights if he continues working as hard. I’m very happy to welcome him to the team and wish him all the very best for his future.”
