Investor Bunkerhill exits Mohammedan Sporting Club!

There was bad news for Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club on Monday, April 17 as investors Bunkerhill announced their exit from the Black Panthers.

Bunkerhill, who had come on board in October 2020 and helped Mohammedan Sporting get promoted in the I-League Qualifiers, spend INR 7-8 Crores per season over the last three seasons, but the investors through their director Dipak Kumar Singh has levelled allegations against the club officials.

First Dipak Kumar Singh claimed that Bunkerhill spend more than had been agreed to cover the running costs of the club, the control of the youth teams were not handed over to the investor as discussed and there was no revenue model at the club.

Now Bunkerhill will look to offload their shares in the club, but if there would be anyone interested to buy their shares will have to be seen.
