The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) organised the third AFC Futsal Fitness Coaching Certificate Course Level 1 for 20 participants which concluded on Tuesday.
Conducted by the AFC Futsal Fitness Instructor Sadegh Amani-Shalamzari and assisted by Pezhman Motamedi from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the six-day course covered various practical activities and theoretical lessons.
Fitness coaches working in the Futsal Premier League and other divisions of futsal leagues and two participants with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree as well as four Masters of Sciences (MSc) graduates joined the course.
AFC Futsal Instructors Naser Saleh, Abolgsasem Arefian and Michel Petros underlined the importance of fitness in futsal development in the opening ceremony that was attended by Kamran Amiri, the Executive Member of the Football Federation Education Committee, Yousef Shahi, the Chairman of the Southwest Tehran Football Association and Mohsen Khabiri, the Head of the Southwest Tehran Education Committee.
