ISL-5: Mumbai City FC score 2-0 win over Delhi Dynamos!

Mumbai City FC scored a 2-0 win over the Delhi Dynamos in an ISL-5 match at the Mumbai Football Arena on Saturday evening.

It was surprising to see that the Delhi Dynamos attacked and pressed Mumbai City FC in the initial stages, but the home team went ahead on the half hour mark when a long ball found Arnold Issoko on the right and his ball into the middle was put into the nets by an alert Modou Sougou. At the break Mumbai City FC were 1-0 ahead.

Mumbai City FC were quickly off the blocks in the second session as they earned a penalty for a foul on Arnold Issoko by Rana Gharami but Rafael Bastos’ shot went wide of the goal.

After some chances for Delhi Dynamos to equalise, Mumbai City FC scored their second goal in the 77th minute by Arnold Issoko to seal the match and the three points.

Delhi Dynamos now return to the capital to host NorthEast United FC on October 30, while Mumbai City FC travel to champions Chennaiyin FC on November 3.
