In great news for the fans of East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant, the upcoming Kolkata derby on Sunday, March 10 would be held at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata after all!
After a lot of discussions with the local authorities, police, the league organisers and the broadcaster, the kick-off time has now been finally set for 8.30pm instead of the usual ISL kick-off timing of 7.30pm.
Sunday would feature the fifth Kolkata derby of the season with East Bengal FC having won two matches, Mohun Bagan SG have won one while the ISL’s first derby last month had ended in an exciting 2-2 draw.
I had earlier reported an 8.15pm kickoff, which has been changed once more to the now final kickoff time!
