Just four weeks away from the iSportconnect Digital Fan Engagement Masterclass, hosted for the first time on the courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), home of The Championships, Wimbledon in London.
With the occasion the iSportconnect team is delighted to announce Sébastien Gillot as speaker, joining the already confirmed Alexandra Willis, Sam Seddon and David Alstadter.
French national, Sébastien Gillot brings over 15 years’ communications experience to the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) with a strong background in global media and international sports organisations.
Appointed Head of Communications for the UCI in May 2014, Sébastien is responsible for the development and delivery of the organisation’s communications strategy, covering media and public relations, digital, sponsor and internal communications, publications, stakeholder engagement and brand identity.
Passionate about digital media from its early stages, Sébastien has had seven years’ experience as lead editor of the French channel for FIFA.com covering world class events such as FIFA World Cups 2006 and 2010. He has also advised the Olympic and Paralympic Games bidding committee of Annecy 2018, before holding the position of Communications & Public Relations Director for three years at the International Boxing Association (AIBA).
As all iSportconnect events, the Digital Fan Engagement Masterclass will be invite-only and it will operate under Chatham House rules to encourage free exchange of ideas and views.
