iSportconnect’s Hospitality Masterclass in association with Sodexo today, February 5 took place at Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
The masterclass provided fantastic insight into the hospitlality world and guests were treated to some great panels and a day of high quality networking.
Darran Phillips, iSportconnect’s MC of the day, and Sodexo Ambassador Matt Dawson introduced the event, before a panel discussing hospitality hierarchy and tiering the hospitality experience for fans kickstarted the day.
Providing their expertise were Eric Clouse of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oliver Wright of Everton FC and Rob March from ACC Liverpool, moderated by Natasha Thiebaut.
After a short networking break the second panel, Amanda McReynolds of Williams Racing, Joanna Wales of Ascot Racecourse and Roy Westwood from Forward Associates.
This panel covered the wide-ranging topic of experiential hospitality and was moderated by Matt Dawson.
Sustainability was the focus for our third panel, a topic at the forefront of everyone’s mind in 2020, and how hospitality can and should adapt.
Speaking were Dan Buckingham from Virgin Atlantic, Rob Pickering of Harrogate Water and Sodexo’s Executive Chef Ben Dutson.
Following a wonderful Sodexo lunch, the presentation of the day took place, featuring 3D Digital Venue and Inter Miami’s Jeanene Valentine.
They explored how 3D virtualisation technology can boost premium inventory sales for stadiums and arenas.
Finally, the fourth and final panel of today’s Hospitality Masterclass delved into hospitality and facility investment.
On the panel was the Scottish FA’s Chris Rawlings, Everton’s Oliver Wright and Leeds Rhinos own Rob Oates, with moderator Roy Westwood.
The iSportconnect Hospitality Masterclass ended with a final word from Sodexo’s Nick Byrom.
