Ivory Coast forward Kamo Stephane Bayi joins Mohammedan Sporting Club!

Ivorian forward Kamo Stephane Bayi arrived in Kolkata on Friday, March 2 evening to sign for Mohammedan Sporting Club to play for them in the upcoming Second Division League.

The 21-year-old striker, who won the I-League with Aizawl FC last season, was welcomed by the Club’s Youth Development Chairman Hasnain Ahmed and Vice Chairman Hafizur Rahman Layak at Kolkata’s Dum Dum Airport.

Kamo Stephane Bayi last played for Gokulam Kerala FC in 2017/18 I-League after having played for Mohun Bagan in the Calcutta Football League and now has become the second foreign recruit for Mohammedan Sporting after Willis Deon Plaza.

“I am delighted to sign for Mohammedan Sporting Club. It’s a great club with top players and passionate fans,” said Kamo.

“I can’t wait to get started now. I have heard about the fans who are passionate about this beautiful game and hopefully I can give them enough reasons to rejoice by the end of the season,” the striker further added.

The Ivorian will hit the ground running at the Mohammedan Sporting ground tomorrow, Saturday morning.
