Jamshedpur FC beat NorthEast United FC 1-0 in pre-season friendly!

Jamshedpur FC won 1-0 against NorthEast United FC in their pre-season friendly match at Flatlets Training Ground in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The Men of Steel were keen to pick up a victory following two defeats in Hyderabad against Sreenidi Deccan FC and Bengaluru FC, and received just the response the club was looking for as the game exploded into life following initial spells of lull.

The introduction of players such as Rei Tachikawa and Mohammed Sanan added more spark to the Jamshedpur FC team and the goal arrived just before the end and was scored by Thongkhosiem Haokip after good build up play involving Sanan and Ricky Lallawmawma.

The game was a good warm-up for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 campaign which kicks off for Jamshedpur FC on September 25 as the Men of Steel travel to East Bengal for their first match of the season.

JFC will play their first home game of the season on October 5 against Hyderabad FC at JRD Tata Sports Complex with all the action available to watch live on JioCinema and Sports-18.
