Jamshedpur FC began their second Grassroots Workshop yesterday!

Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association is conducting their second Grassroots workshop for the coaches which is an open session for anyone above the age of 18.

It kicked off today and runs until November 21 and the venue is the Tata Football Academy. This will be followed by a football festival on the last day, November 21 at the RVS Academy which was recently inaugurated.

Kundan Chandra, Head of Youth Development & Grassroots added, “The primary focus of this workshop is to educate and develop grassroot coaches so that the kids can benefit from it. The clubs plan is to streamline and structure these factors and develop a strong grassroots infrastructure that will connect to youth for Jamshedpur FC in the coming years.”

Adding to this, Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari, said: “The long-term vision is to engage the local and tribal community and develop local players and coaches who would go on to represent club, state and country. With Jamshedpur FC, we look to enhance the overall football eco-system encompassing grassroots football, youth football, women’s football and coach’s education is a key part to all this.”
