Jamshedpur FC launch its seventh Football School in Hill Top School!

Jamshedpur FC launched its seventh football school in collaboration with Hill Top School in Jamshedpur becoming the first football school to be inaugurated in the TELCO area; overseen by Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots and Youth Development. The inauguration was felicitated by all-important dignitaries Puneeta B Chouhan, Principal, Hill Top School; Mukul Choudhari – CEO, Jamshedpur FC; and Carlos Santamarina – Head Coach, Tata Football Academy (TFA) and the management of the school.

69 kids of age group Under-5, Under-8 and Under-11 registered for the football school and participated in the occasion that marked the inauguration with utmost interest.

The CEO of Jamshedpur FC, Mukul Choudhari stated, “Jamshedpur FC is delighted to have kick-started its football school at the Hill Top School. Hill Top was the first school that we had approached last year starting with a football festival but due to some technical constraints, we were unable to start this school earlier. I am extremely happy that we have overcome all the difficulties and here we are kickstarting another chapter of our vision about the grassroots structure of Jamshedpur FC. Special thanks to the school management for all the support.”

The principal of Hill Top School, Puneeta B Chouhan shared her thoughts about Football School Initiative out of utmost delight, “Jamshedpur FC has been pivotal in promoting football in Jamshedpur and Jharkhand. We are delighted that despite facing many challenges we have managed to kickstart the football school under the able guidance of coaches from Jamshedpur FC. I would like to encourage my students and the parents to make sure we take advantage of this by enrolling in the football school program as we are lucky to have the school running on our premises. We are glad to collaborate with the club and thank them for setting a platform for the children of Hill Top.”

Head of Youth Development, Kundan Chandra stated, “Over the last 6 months we have taken this journey and I am extremely pleased with the overall result as we have inaugurated the seventh school and we are in the process to fulfil our goal by opening the eighth school in the coming week. I am delighted to welcome Hill Top School in our growing family and looking forward to working with the young talented football enthusiasts in the coming days.”

The Football School in Hill Top School is up and about with 69 kids started early on the process of cultivating talent.
