Jamshedpur FC Reserves go down fighting in the final of the Bodousa Cup 2018!

The Jamshedpur FC Reserves fell at the final hurdle to be the winners of the prestigious Bodousa Cup competition, organised in various places in Assam. Jamshedpur FC Reserves slumped to a 0-2 defeat against Saif Sporting Club from Bangladesh in the grand finale on Sunday, September 23.

After victories over Moran Town Club in the group stage and Chyasal Youth Club in the semifinals, hopes were high from the young colts of Jamshedpur. But Billu Teli and co. could not get the better of Saif Sporting Club in the ultimate showdown.

Asifullah Khan of Saif Sporting turned out to be the key man for the side from Bangladesh. Despite not being able to get their hands on the elusive trophy, the Bodousa Cup 2018 would prove to be a huge learning curve for the young Jamshedpur FC Reserves side.

The new Bodousa Cup champions Saif Sporting Club received a trophy and Rs 100,000 (1 lakh), while the runners-up Jamshedpur FC Reserves got Rs 50,000.
