Jamshedpur FC retain Bikash Jairu for two more seasons until 2020!

Sikkim-born winger Bikash Jairu has been retained by Jamshedpur FC till the year 2020. The 27-year-old was influential in the club’s debut Indian Super League season as he helped Steve Coppell’s men to a respectable fifth position finish, narrowly missing out on a semifinal berth.

On signing his contract extension, a delighted Bikash Jairu said, “I feel very happy to continue my stay with Jamshedpur FC. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and all the fans of the club for showing faith in me. It is a huge honour to be a part of this club.”

The winger also revealed how pleased he was to be playing for the Jamshedpur crowd again, “The way the city supports their football club is something that is unique to this country. They are simply amazing, and I hope to see them continue supporting next season too.”
