Jamshedpur FC triumphs with a 5-0 victory at Hyderabad FC!

Jamshedpur FC, playing away in Hyderabad at the Gachibowli Stadium, demonstrated strategic excellence, and attacking ferocity.

The game began with Daniel Chima Chukwu scoring the opening goal in just the 2nd minute, marking it as the 3rd fastest goal in Jamshedpur FC’s history. His performance didn’t stop there, as he went on to score two more goals at the 20th and 79th minutes, ensuring his place as only the second player in the club’s history to score a hattrick.

Len Doungel contributed to the tally with a goal at the 70th minute, followed by an unfortunate own goal from Jonathan Moya of Hyderabad FC just four minutes later, sealing the massive victory for Jamshedpur FC.

This match marked a historic moment for Jamshedpur FC as they achieved a double over Hyderabad FC for the first time. The team’s tactical superiority was evident throughout the game, with their aggressive approach and consistent pressure yielding significant results.

The match was rife with pivotal moments, including several substitutions that impacted the game’s flow. Other than Daniel Chima Chukwu’s hattrick, Jeremy Manzorro came close a couple of times in the first half showcasing Jamshedpur’s dominance across the pitch.

At the back Jamshedpur FC’s defence, led by goalkeeper Rehenesh TP, remained unbreachable as the custodian made some brilliant saves to ensure a clean sheet despite Hyderabad FC’s attempts to rally with shots through Abdul Rabeeh and Mark Zothanpuia.

Scott Cooper made some strategic substitutions which paid off really good dividends as Jamshedpur FC scored three goals in the last 20 minutes of the game, including a belter from outside the box by substitute Len Doungel.

This victory is a significant boost for Jamshedpur FC as they continue their campaign in the Indian Super League. Their performance characterized by effective attacking and solid defence, sets a high standard for their upcoming matches.

With that win, Jamshedpur FC now have nine points from 11 games and are only three points away from the playoffs position. Jamshedpur FC next travel to Bhubaneswar to play Odisha FC on December 29.
