Japan FA renews partnership with England’s The FA!

The Japan Football Association (JFA) extended a partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Football Association (FA) in London on Monday, September 24.

The MoU further focuses on knowledge sharing and exchange programmes for further development of football in both countries.

The signing ceremony took place at the Embassy of Japan in London, in the presence of Greg Clarke, Chairman of The Football Association and Kohzo Tashima, President of Japan Football Association.

Both Football Associations discussed as to how football exchanges can be enhanced through the signing of Partnership this time, and expressed expectations for future initiatives.

The MoU between the FA and JFA aims to cooperate in the following areas:

· Knowledge-Sharing
· Coach education & Grassroots programmes
· Women’s Football
· Youth Leadership
· Refereeing
· Disability & Paralympic football
· IT
· Security
· Technical exchange
· Executive exchange
· Match opportunities
· Joint international development initiatives
