The first player to depart ahead of the 2024-25 season has been confirmed. Jeff Chabot will leave 1.FC Köln and not go with the club into the 2. Bundesliga.
1.FC Köln managing director Christian Keller said: “We had very good discussions with Jeff and wanted to keep him at the club above all else, after a strong season where he developed into a leader and put in strong performances on the pitch. It is to Jeff’s credit, that he thought long and hard about staying at the club no matter what league.”
