Joma agrees technical supplier deal with Ecuador’s Club Deportivo Cuenca!

Joma and Club Deportivo Cuenca of Ecuador’s Serie A have reached an agreement which will see the Spanish sportswear brand and one of world football’s leading equipment suppliers become technical supplier to the club. The deal represents an important opportunity for Joma to increase its reach and popularity in South America.

Deportivo Cuenca were founded in 1971 and the club has enjoyed considerable success over its relatively short existence, being runners-up in Ecuadors top flight championship in 1975, 1976, 2005, 2007 and 2009.

Since winning it’s first national championship in 2004, Deprtivo Cuenca have been an ever-present in Ecuador’s Serie A and have competed in the South American Copa Libertadores on numerous occasions. The club plays at the Estadio Alejandro Serrano Aguilar, named after its former president and mayor of Cuenca.
