Spanish kit maker Joma as the technical sponsor of English Championship side Swansea City AFC of Wales have presented the club’s official kits for the 2019/20 season.
Technical features
Joma products are recognized for their quality and technological features. The quality standards of the brand have been applied to Swansea City AFC garments, both to the playing jerseys for the professionals and to the replicas which will be going on sale.
Playing shirts are made of Interlock polyester, one of the best fabrics we will find in the market, so Joma bet on it more than 20 years ago and it’s now our main fabric.This fabric is characterized by its quality, durability and easy maintenance. At first sight, we can’t distinguish both sides of the material, but if we look at it with a thread-counter we can see that they are exactly the same. It is a fabric made in circular, giving the material a high dimensional stability, this peculiarity gives the characteristic of not folding up over itself during the cutting process. This fabric allows good perspiration and quick drying.
Both shirts incorporate Mesh fabric on the sides for improved breathability and for greater comfort, Rib fabric is applied to the collar and cuffs of the shirt.
Design features
Joma has created a design which maintains Swansea City AFC identity using black and white colors as the main elements. The jersey has some details which make it special, Jack Army wording is showing on the back of the jersey near the neckline.
Home jersey is made with embossed printing that creates a matte gloss effect throughout the garment, in addition, the round neck of the shirt is closed with a button, allowing players or fans to open and close the collar for comfort.
Away jersey is sublimated on the front with three thick vertical lines. The result is an elegant shirt thanks to the fabric used, which brings beauty and originality to the garment.
