Julian Eitschberger extends Hertha BSC contract until 2027!

Fresh from his loan at Hallescher FC in the third division, right-back Julian Eitschberger has extended his contract with Hertha BSC until 2027.

“We have been in regular contact with Eitschi over the past few months. He’s played a lot of games in the 3.Liga, picked up important experience and has developed his game, just as we hoped he would. We’re therefore delighted that he’ll continue to be a Hertha player,” said sporting director Benjamin Weber.

The 20-year-old added: “I’m grateful for my time in Halle. I became a Germany U21 international thanks to this opportunity. I’m now looking forward to returning to Hertha after my holiday.”

Eitschberger joined the Hertha BSC academy in 2017 from SC Staaken and made his professional debut in the Berlin derby in the 2021/22 season, appearing in one more game in the following Bundesliga season. The right-back played 32 competitive games for Hallescher FC this season and scored one goal.
