Indian Super League table toppers Kerala Blasters have recalled Nigerian striker Justine Emmanuel from his loan spell with I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC.
Kerala Blasters in a statement said, “The Club has decided to recall Justine Emmanuel from his loan spell at Gokulam Kerala FC. Justine will start training with the team soon.”
The Kerala Blasters made this move following the injury to Ghanian striker Kwame Peprah.
20 year old Justine Emmanuel had joined the Kerala Blasters last summer after a trial but as the club thought he wasn’t ready for the ISL just yet, they loaned him to Gokulam Kerala FC.
In the I-League, Justine Emmanuel scored a goal in eight matches for Gokulam Kerala FC.
Now Justine Emmanuel returns to Kerala Blasters, who hope he can continue where Kwame Peprah left off in the ISL-10.
